CS/SE 4600: Senior Project

Project Midpoint Presentation

Assignment

Present your project status to the class. Share the high points about your project and your accomplishments.

Prepare 5-6 slides for your presentation. Your presentation should be 4 minutes. You should practice your presentation ahead of time to be sure you can fit the important information in that time. Your presentation must be a PDF file. If you want to use external resources, such as short video clips, post them publicly and link them from the PDF file.

This is not a project demonstration. This is a discussion of the features and results obtained from your project to date.

Presentations will be on February 24, 26, March 3 and 5. You must attend all presentation days.

Presentation order will be randomized.

Possible Outline

• Introduce yourself.
• Describe the problem your project is addressing.
• Describe the features of your solution.
• Describe any interesting architecture or algorithmic features of your solution.
• Describe the current status of your solution.
• Answer any questions.

Grading

To receive any credit: - The presentation must be submitted as a PDF by the due date. - You must attend all presentation days.

To receive full credit: - The presentation must take between 3.5 and 4.5 minutes. - It must clearly communicate the need for your project, the current and planned features, and the technical resources.

Submission

Upload the presentation as a PDF to the Canvas assignment by 11:59 pm on February 23.
